Hubble observes glowing, fiery shells of gas

Mar. 1, 2013 ? A new image from the Hubble Space Telescope may look like something from "The Lord of the Rings," but this fiery swirl is actually a planetary nebula known as ESO 456-67. Set against a backdrop of bright stars, the rust-colored object lies in the constellation of Sagittarius (The Archer), in the southern sky.

Despite the name, these ethereal objects have nothing at all to do with planets; this misnomer came about over a century ago, when the first astronomers to observe them only had small, poor-quality telescopes. Through these, the nebulae looked small, compact, and planet-like -- and so were labeled as such.

When a star like the sun approaches the end of its life, it flings material out into space. Planetary nebulae are the intricate, glowing shells of dust and gas pushed outwards from such a star. At their centers lie the remnants of the original stars themselves -- small, dense white dwarf stars.

In this image of ESO 456-67, it is possible to see the various layers of material expelled by the central star. Each appears in a different hue -- red, orange, yellow, and green-tinted bands of gas are visible, with clear patches of space at the heart of the nebula. It is not fully understood how planetary nebulae form such a wide variety of shapes and structures; some appear to be spherical, some elliptical, others shoot material in waves from their polar regions, some look like hourglasses or figures of eight, and others resemble large, messy stellar explosions -- to name but a few.

If things are not going your way with your new product launch plan, do not get down on yourself. It takes a while to find out ways to succeed in this business and if you give up at the first hurdle, you will never know whether you had the ability to make something of it.

When Launching a New Product You Must Set Your Budget

Set up a budget in advance. Once you begin making profits, it is very tempting to keep the cash for yourself. Keep in mind that your business will certainly not develop if you are not reinvesting. Plan ahead of time to spend a particular portion of your profits to develop your business further.

Never Quit

One of the secrets to multi level marketing and launching a new product is to never give up. No matter how hard it gets, do not quit. Many of the very best network marketing experts underwent difficult times when they started. Understand that you need to construct the base to future earnings and it takes some time. Bear in mind that many people quit before making any earnings, so keep at it and you will reap the rewards.

Do not focus on your family and friends as potential markets when launching a new product. If they?re interested, you?ll wipe out the pool of profits too soon. If they?re not interested, you could end up damaging your relationship with them, so be careful. As an alternative, focus on building other contacts first, and come back to family and friends later, when you have an effective business to show them. You will be proud that you did it all by yourself, without the need of their help.

Launching a New Product Requires Good Content

With your new product launch strategy, take care when writing your content. Exactly how genuine will you appear to your reader. If you come across as only being interested in what profit you can make, people will see this and will not want to do business with you. If you portray yourself as a genuine person, willing to help others, you will be more inclined to gain the respect of your visitor and in time, they will be far more likely to do business with you.

Follow a Leader For Your New Product Launch Plan

Besides, having a mentor will help you on your road to success a lot quicker than if you are on your own. When launching a new product, it can be extremely difficult at first if you don?t know where to start.

Constantly try to find brand-new advertising and marketing strategies. With brand-new technologies, businesses are frequently finding new methods to communicate with their online visitors. Keep a close watch on your competitors and look at what your fellow marketers are doing. Maybe you can use a little panel of customers to sample a new product launch strategy. Experiment with brand-new technologies if they are feasible to your business.

Treat your business with respect and allow time for it to grow, don?t see it as a ?get rich quick? scheme. One thing you want to avoid is joining any ?make fast cash? schemes. There are plenty of legitimate online business opportunities to get involved in, and you need to focus on building a reputable online business.

Research into the tools you need when launching a new product. You need to budget for certain things when you first get started. Any sort of financial surprises you come across may deter you or may result in you going into debt if you?re not expecting them, so investigate thoroughly.

An important point to take into consideration when it comes to a new product launch plan is to figure out the most effective means to entice your target market. This is important as if you do not understand how to reach them, how will your product launch be a success? Study your target market and discover exactly what makes them tick.

Learn to Overcome Obstacles

A crucial suggestion to think about when it concerns overcoming barriers with network marketing is to not hesitate to seek advice from other people in your field. You may want to work things out for yourself and that is fine but it can be extremely time consuming. Reach out to your follow network marketers who will be only too pleased to help you. new product launch plan

HGST melds nanoimprints, selfassembling molecules to double hard drive space

Hard drive makers are in a race to boost capacities and keep spinning disks at least a beat ahead of flash drives on the value curve. We've seen some exotic developments as a result, but HGST wants to go the extra mile by relying on two breakthroughs at once. Its future storage primarily takes advantage of self-assembling polymer molecules that align themselves into rows. By first splitting the molecules into very small lines and then using an equally rare nanoimprinting technology to put them into circular tracks, HGST can create platters with a 10 nanometer-wide bit pattern that's twice as dense as current hard drives. The technique should hold up in the real world despite ditching typical photolithography, the company says: the nanoimprinting remains useful in the error-prone world of storage, and it should scale as the patterns get smaller. If only the drive designer had a roadmap -- while the company has a tendency to bring its research to market, the lack of a timetable hints that we won't see these nanoimprinted drives very soon.
